Weddings at Treworgey
Treworgey is a truly unique setting for a wedding reception. While we don't really advertise as a ‘wedding venue’, we have had four magical weddings here in recent years for people who wanted something really special, and who fell in love with Treworgey and its spectacular views.
If you want a wedding that is entirely bespoke, and which will have the kind of friendly support that only a small family business can give, Treworgey might just be for you. We have had a few marquee weddings for around 80 overlooking the river valley, a 'village fete' wedding with Cornish high tea and a hog roast, and two stunning intimate weddings of around 30 people people inside our beautiful Georgian farmhouse.
Duloe’s Fifteenth Century St Cuby’s Church is just a mile and a half away, and there are many other lovely churches nearby. If you prefer a civil ceremony, we recommend the beautiful Guild Hall in Looe - just 3 miles from Treworgey.
We'd love to discuss your ideas and designs - drop Holly an email: firstname.lastname@example.org to talk more.

What our brides and grooms have to say
"This is our first visit to Treworgey and our honeymoon. What a beautiful place to start our married life together. Everything has been perfect, we could not have hoped for more. Thank you so much. I never imagined I could find such a beautiful place in the UK." MOSI AND HELEN GHAEDI KACHOOEI
"Think this was our 9th (?) visit to Treworgey but only our 2nd to Hollyhock (the first being our honeymoon 15 yrs ago!). A lovely way to spend our anniversary. The cottage is every bit as wonderful as we remembered it. Wish we could pick it up and take it home with us!!" ANN & HANES WHITLOCK
"We have had a wonderful stay here for our honeymoon. Everything you think you will need is here -you have thought of everything. Buildings are beautiful, set in stunning scenery & you've all been so helpful. Thanks a million! Best wishes." KATE & DAVID (MR&MRS!LAUDER)
"What a fantastic location and cottage for a somewhat belated honeymoon! From the warm welcome to the birds singing to wake you in the most comfortable bed ever (!) this has been a week we will never forget. Though tempting to remain huddled inside we really would suggest at least a couple of days out -there's so much to do in only a week! Until next time..." LIZ& ALEXWILSON
"It's been perfect! From the signs with our new name guiding us in to the first sight of the cottage - it's been so peaceful and quiet we've felt like the only people in the world." MR AND MRS HEARN
"Had a lovely relaxing break. Here this time celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary (had our honeymoon here). Lovely to wake up to the wonderful views and to just enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle of busy family life. Thank you all for another wonderful stay." STEWART AND JILL RICHARDS
"This is our 3rd visit to Treworgey and 2nd to Lois' Cottage -our first was our honeymoon 2 years ago and this is our 2nd anniversary. The cottage is exactly as we remembered and everything has been perfect. As ever we are reluctant to leave but are already planning our next trip!" EMMA & MATT HEARN
"We searched for somewhere really special to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and struck gold. Treworgey is a haven in a mad world and you can somehow feel the love that has gone into the conversion of the cottages and the on going hard work to make it such a special place. Thank you all for your foresight in creating this wonderful place and the thoughtful touches which have made our stay so special." MR ANDMRS FAULKNER
'The log fire was perfect, the view amazing (and gave us a great look at Looe's marvellous New Year's firework display) and the scenery here is enchanting. We had a wonderful Honeymoon. Thank you." MR AND MRS GWINNETT
"Geoff's Barn is beautiful and we spend quite a lot of time in the gardens which are also beautiful. Thank you so much Jo, Alec and all the staff, you are truly lovely people and we can't wait to come back next year for our honeymoon." SHEILA & ALEX BLACKBURN
