Kids clubs at Treworgey - giving you three afternoons off!

Every week in the school holidays we run three fantastic clubs for children at Treworgey (subject to interest, but there is usually plenty of that!). Our enthusiastic and friendly riding instructors Niki and Betty, and expert Forest School Leader Sally Jones run these clubs and the kids have the time of their lives.

Pony Club (Monday afternoons 2-4pm)

A fun-packed two hours where children can learn all about ponies and get hands on practice at grooming and tacking up. They will get to join in with our fantastic gymkhana games which tend to draw a fair crowd of spectators!

Pony Club costs £23.50 per child and children of all ages are welcome but we ask a parent to come along for kids under seven.

Own a Pony Afternoon (Tuesday afternoons 2-4pm)

Have your kids every wanted to own their own pony? Well now they can for a whole afternoon! The next bit is for the children to read...

You will be allocated your own pony to groom, plait and polish ready for a competition (we are experts at tailoring this to varied ages and abilities!). You will then get to take part in showjumping. At the end of the afternoon, you will help look after your pony by putting him to bed for the night.

Own a Pony Afternoon is for 7-18 yr olds and costs £23.50 per child.

Forest School (Wednesday afternoons 2-4pm)

New from February 2016! (Replacing our old general 'Kids Club' )

Calling all adventurers! Learn how to light a fire without matches; build dens in the woods; try your hand at bushcraft; play woodland games; learn survival skills and cook on a campfire with expert Forest School Leader Sally Jones.

Forest School costs £10 per child and children of all ages are welcome but we ask a parent to come along for kids under six.
